Most locals seeing the various forms of caravans and recreational vehicles in the area probably don’t think about the boost to our local economy.
Bayside Caravan Club from the Redland Bay area visited Clifton over Australia Day and the weekend.
Members joined with the local community for Australia Day celebrations at the F. E. Logan Hall and thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast and the whole morning.
“A credit to a small community” were their words.
One member of the club was thrilled to win the lucky door prize of a set of Boules (Bocce) and a rug. She said they will be well used at future club rallies.
The members also enjoyed dining out at hotels and a great movie night at the Tivoli Theatre.
For fourteen vans which stayed for varying amounts of time, the occupants.
